Celebrating the Fourth of July

A few weeks ago my oldest girls went to grandma and grandpa's for a week as is the summer tradition. Lili or her grandpa found a caterpillar and we brought it home with us. We fed it for a few days and I think everyone but Lili assumed it wouldn't live. After a week or so, the little fuzzy started building a cocoon and it's been in there now for a couple weeks... until this morning.

Lili was very excited to find that the caterpillar had come out of it's cocoon. From what we can tell, this is a Salt Marsh Moth. Here are the pictures of her and her friends:
