Don't let the telecoms off the hook!

If you don't want your government involved in Soviet style phone tapping, call or write to your representatives in Washington and tell them not to support immunity for telecoms who spied on you as part of the NSA's illegal wiretapping effort.



Yes, we need security, but not at the cost of our privacy. It doesn't matter that we have nothing to hide. I don't have anything to hide in the bedroom or the bathroom, but what I do there is no one's business but my own. Shame on those who call themselves conservatives and say they favor smaller government while at the same time supporting this big brother style invasion of people's personal lives.

For now, we are winning on this issue, but you can bet that the telecoms are lobbying hard. Don't give up the fight.

Too bad those in control of AT&T today didn't follow the course set some 80 years ago when the government came calling.
